Moving Services for the Long Haul
If you are moving across the state or across the nation many people choose to use a larger moving service company. They will do everything for you. They will supply the truck; they will load up the truck; they will even pack some of the different household items. They will lift all the heavy furniture and ensure that everything has been packed and placed in the right spot. Then they will normally drive the truck to your new destination and unpack your stuff wherever you want it.
Sounds good right?
And it is good. Larger moving services are capable of handling everything. They can find a way to fit that king sized bed up the winding staircase. They can lift the grand piano through the window, if they need to.
However, they are also extremely expensive. Many moving services charge by the hour which can add up to a very expensive moving day or moving weekend. Furthermore, for those who like to be in charge of everything, watching someone else handle your stuff can be a very difficult process. You are so concerned that they will drop your precious items that you would rather just do it yourself.
You Haul and Truck Rental Moving Services
Another option is to use a moving service company that hires out trucks. You move the goods and they supply the truck. Trucks come in all different sizes for all your moving needs. Once you have made it to your destination you can simply drop off the truck at a participating moving services depot in your new city.

If you’re planning a move from one small apartment to another, or are just moving up the street, then sometimes you can get away with not hiring a moving service company at all. Instead, buy your friends a carton of beer and ask them to help you on the weekend. If they have trucks, even better. In a few loads and with a few trucks you should be able to transport your furniture and belongings from one home to another. And after the hard work is over, you can sit back and enjoy a case of cold beer with your friends.
Moving doesn’t have to be an overwhelming experience. Moving services, or simply good friends, can take the stress of out moving day.
